Dear Colleagues,

 

European Working group on Psychosocial Aspects of Children with Chronic Renal Failure,
49. Annual Meeting (EWOPA) will be held in Hungary at the historical place Visegrád.


The Conference address the psycho-social problems of children with different stages of
chronic kidney disease including those on renal replacement therapies as dialysis and transplantation.


The venue is in the Wellness Hotel named Visegrád.

This village is about 40 km (25 miles) from Budapest downtown at the riverside Danube.


We expect the representatives of all professions who are in connection
· with toddlers, children, adolescents
· having the history of chronic renal failure
· Nurses, teachers, psychologist, psychiatrists
· play – and music therapist, social workers
· and - indeed – pediatric nephrologists
are welcome!


The proposed topics among the usual ones as
· quality of life, and how to measure it;
· the impact of media to forward medical information;
· transition: when and how to do it;
· it is suggested to discus ssiblings’ needs;
· how to support sport activities in CRF patients;

· the problems of retarded growth

· some kind of exchange about information material for patients (for the
children of different ages, as well as the parents)
